The purpose of this website is to provide a focal point and signpost for activities, events and publications that will be taking place over the next year or so to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Laurie’s birth in 1914.
A number of events are being planned to mark the birth of this inspirational English writer, both within the Stroud district and nationally.

The publication of a new book by his daughter Jessy: introducing previously unseen drawings and paintings covering periods of Laurie’s life – from the early days in Slad to his time in Spain and return to England
